Thursday was a quiet morning before the rest of the cousins showed up. We hung out, played with our new toys and waited for Kaeden and Corbin and Kinsley to get to gramma and grampa's.
Christmas morning was the big Hoyt family Christmas (aka mass chaos). My mom has so much fun buying gifts for the grandkids. They just LOVE gramma and grampa's presents! After opening presents we went to dad's church for the Christmas dinner that they serve every year. The boys had fun running around the church like they owned the place and it was fun to see all the people. After naps on Christmas Day we had our own Christmas dinner; ham, potatoes, rolls, gingerbread cake with whip cream, hmmmm. yum!

Then Saturday morning, my mom's gift to the "big" boys was a paintball trip. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of that. But, they had a BLAST!!! Scott had so much fun, got to shoot my dad over and over and his brothers-in-law. When they got home they were like little kids; telling us stories of shooting dad in the face, and showing us their battle wounds. So much fun! Then, as soon as they were done with their story-telling, us girls gave directions on naps for the little ones, and out the door we RAN. We went to lunch at Panera just the 5 of us and then to a movie. That was so nice to just eat lunch and sit and watch a movie in peace. I love afternoons like that! Thanks mom for treating us, you are such a good mom!! =)
After the movie and a little more time back at mom and dad's, we left for home. Drew was sound asleep when we pulled in the driveway Saturday night and Reed followed shortly. Sunday we went to church at Valley with Scott's family and then back to their house for presents and brunch with them. The boys were so excited to see more presents for them. They LOVED their new games, books, cars, trains, and legos. It was a nice, quiet relaxing afternoon hanging out at gramma and papa's house. Scott slept most of the day away because he had worked through the night Saturday night plowing snow (thanks for THAT welcome home gift). Anyway, we had a very Blessed Christmas this year and are looking forward to this new year. 2010 is gonna be a fun one with a little girlie being added to this family!
