Uncle Rick drew Superman tattoos on the boys (with a stinkin' highlighter people, not a washable Crayola, a highlighter). Men. oh, and not sure why Kaeden has a band-aid on his forehead. We had a good long weekend although it still goes by too fast even when we have an extra day, how does that work?! =) Friday night we hung out with our small group. We had SO MUCH fun! We got out the old cd's and took a trip down memory lane back to high school/college days, had a sweet little dance party of our own. Nothin' like "old" people who are parents now themselves just "getting jiggy with it". We had a blast!!!
Saturday Scott was up early to move my sister Amy into her new place. She just finished grad school and had been living with an elderly woman in Beaverdale and now has her own place over sort of by Valley Junction area. She's excited! It's a very cute place, she got some way cool furniture and she's going crazy decorating the place! =) How fun, honestly (and i didn't tell scott this) while the boys and I were there helping Amy unpack Saturday late morning, I was getting the itch, NO not the baby itch, but the itch to move to a new place. People talk about hating to move, I love moving, having a new space to decorate. But that won't be happening anytime soon and that's ok with me, we love where we are right now! Then Saturday night we just sat around the house and did nothing, watched the storm outside and were glued to the tv (ok, now i'm getting lazy with the correct punctuations, capitalizations, etc.) watching the terrible devastation in Parkersburg, IA. so sad. we have friends who are from there and her family still lives there. please keep them in your prayers, the tornado that has destroyed 1/3 of the town has just devastated so many people!! i just can't stop thinking about all of them.
Sunday scott led worship at church and if i must say so myself, that man can sing! i love his voice, he did great! funny story: sunday afternoon scott was walking around the house singing something at the top of his lungs and drew was obviously getting annoyed because all the sudden he goes "daddy stop singing, church is all done". it was hilarious, usually drew loves to dance and sing and play guitar but for some reason he wasn't in the mood, daddy was gettin' on his nerves! =)
yesterday was a nice, relaxing day. we spent the day out at gramma and pappa's (Durant), ate good food, watched "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe", had a great time.
ok, not sure why i just gave ya'll the run down of our weekend, not that anyone cares, obviously i have nothing too deep to say! =) Today is one of those days; dreary, raining, raining, raining, lots of rain. drew is already watching a movie, reed is fast asleep for his morning nap and i'm looking around at a house that desperately needs cleaned, yuck, not my idea of fun. maybe i should just let it sit for another day?

definitely let the house sit for another day, that's what my motto has been!
notice how i am commenting on this blog and not the other "heavy" one. i cried when i read that....i just had to be me and not even go there with commenting - that would have made it worse! it's best to avoid, don't you know? (just kidding i know that's bad)....
that is hilarious drew told scott to stop singing - church is over. i just laughed out loud at that. doesn't suprise me to much he said that i guess - he was thinking it so why wouldn't he say it? duh! ha!
your small group sounds like fun. we need to get into one....
